My name is Michele Terra and I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer and I need your help! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) was built on this same vision--of a better world--one without blood cancers.
This year, I am humbled to be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year campaign as a team member, working to make the largest impact possible for LLS's mission. I have big ambitions and a great support system to raise as much money as possible to help patients worldwide against their fight with blood cancers.
my story.
Many of you know that my passion for oncology and blood cancer specifically, stems from my experience with
my mother, Mary Lacquaniti, who was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) in 2007. While she was one of the lucky ones that survived, the experience we endured as a family, is something I will never forget.
It takes a village in challenging times, and that is why I am committed to raising funds to help patients and
families as they battle blood cancers.
